SCOTT + MISEE | Married
An elegant DIY Montana Country Wedding
That’s Scott’s dad’s ranch. The ceremony, the reception, all took place on family land in Montana.
Mahlia and Misee go way back, back to their college days at Montana State University. The bride & many of the bridesmaids are all sisters of Alpha Omicron Pi. So Mahlia knew what to expect when we got there. Pat was blown away. Growing up in Michigan, living in Florida, then coming to middle Tennessee, he’d never seen a sky so big.
And we’ve never seen a wedding like this. Misee called it “My Pinterest Wedding,” and you could tell that she went all out hand-making pretty much every decoration, including creating her beautiful bouquet, as well as the ones held by her girls.
This wedding was about as Montana as Montana gets. Big sky, hay bales, and lots and lots of games, dancing, & fun.
Seriously, can you believe this dream ceremony spot? Montana is incredible! They planted these trees to be a part of their ceremony decor. How awesome is it that they’ll be able to watch these grow on the family property for years to come?Misee made these sweet favors for their guests. Filled with flowers seeds. A thoughtful, affordable, and useful favor! Sunsets in Montana are completely different than in Tennessee. Especially this evening. It was a soft golden yellow like butter.Wedding Vendors: Bridal Gown – After 5 Weddings | Rentals – Party Time Plus | Bridesmaid Dresses – Frill Clothing | Band – The Nye Express Band | Cake – Teri Udey Cakes | Makeup – Cindy Moran | Hair – Kayla Woosley | Caterer – Project Meats | Formalwear – Step n’ Out
