A Southern Fishing Engagement

Anna Kate & Eli are absolutely charismatic and a delight to be around. We first met with them in Franklin, TN at the Frothy Monkey. We connected immediately with them both. Eli is absolutely hilarious and Anna Kate accompanies his humor perfectly with wit of her own. When we set up their engagement session they wanted to use Eli’s relatives private family farm and we were so amazed at the wonderful land we were able to explore with them!

Anna Kate was having an incredibly lucky day. She repeatedly caught several fish from the lake… Eli, wasn’t quite so fortunate on the fish side, but he certainly caught the most valuable thing – love. Anna Kate’s love. Cheesy? Yes. But absolutely true! These two are quite clearly meant for one another.

Anna Kate’s ring is absolutely gorgeous! The band itself is a beautiful twisted metal. It’s incredibly unique!

Fishing is clearly a passion for them. When planning an engagement session with our couples we always encourage them to choose to do an activity, especially something they are comfortable and relaxed during. Fishing was the perfect activity for Eli & Anna Kate. We let  them relax and enjoy themselves while we captured the sweet little moments. The laughter of missing a fish, the excitement of reeling one in, and the calm moments in between.

The blue barn on the property was a fabulous find and matched their outfits so nicely. Anna Kate’s lace dress was stunning and paired so well with her boots.

This was the first successful fishing catch of the day! Anna Kate reeled it in, Eli unhooked it, & the celebrated with a quick kiss before releasing the fish back into the pond and continuing with their fun fishing engagement adventure.
