We can not believe that it’s already been a year since these two said I Do at Buffalo River Bed & Breakfast. We couldn’t wait to meet up with them for their 1st Anniversary Photoshoot. We spent a few hours chatting with them, taking photos, and eating a delicious red velvet cake from Tis So Sweet. Andrea & Byron are such a sweet couple and absolutely perfect together. We are so fortunate that they found us for their wedding and will hopefully be taking their anniversary photos on a yearly basis. One of our favorite parts about anniversary sessions is the opportunity to reconnect and catch up on lifes big events from the past year. These two have had several adventures including a new family member — their pup, Gracie. We’re hoping that she’ll join us for their 2nd Anniversary.
Being a seasoned Ivory Door Couple, Andrea & Byron are totally aware of our adoration of props in photoshoots. They brought a variety of signs, gorgeous floral bouquets to match Andrea’s beautiful dress, and even a picnic complete with cake. They even showcased their love for the Tennessee Vols which is sort of their trademark signature style.
It was important to them to recreate one of their favorite photos from their wedding day for their anniversary. And how brilliant was it that they brought a framed portrait of the image to hold? One of the best parts about being a wedding photographer is seeing our couples with their photos printed and framed. With technology being what it is, so many people take a photo and save it to their phone. But printing an image and having it in your home is so much more. You enjoy that memory every time you walk by. Your friends and family who visit will view the photos, comment, and ask questions that will remind you of those special moments in your life together.
