A Boho Inspired Wedding at Drakewood Farms

We have been waiting for Milly & Adam to tie the knot since 2015 so when the day finally came we were beyond excited! Earlier this year we met up with them for their engagement photos at Drakewood Farms and we had such a great time hearing about their vision for the wedding day – and, goodness, we were not disappointed! Milly’s fun boho style shown throughout and it was all inspired by this amazing skull that has been a part of their love story since they first began dating. Adam first met Milly back in 2003 while he was a lifeguard at Wave Country, but it wasn’t until several years later that he finally reached back out to her.
This was our first wedding at this southern venue, although we have had the opportunity to visit the beautiful venue in the past for a TWESA event. The venue is really interesting and has a lot of fascinating historical elements in addition to it being simply stunning. One of the really amazing things about this venue is how versatile that it is. There are so many amazing locations for wedding ceremony including the spot that Milly & Adam chose to use, the outdoor barn, an inside barn location and several other fantastic spots on the property.
