This Grace Valley Farm wedding was nothing short of a complete dream! We’ve been anxiously awaiting Caty & Aaron’s wedding for nearly 2 years, ever since we photographed his sister Victoria’s wedding at Stone Gate Farm. Plus we had such a blast with them earlier this year at their engagement session! Caty & Aaron began dating in high school and they are truly best friends and they were so excited to finally start their forever together. And their vows definitely reflected that friendship and love.
Y’all are going to be amazed by the beautiful invitation suite that Caty designed and put together herself! Their wedding invitations were printed on acrylic and featured one of their favorite engagement photos showing through with the calligraphy on top. It became a bit of a feature piece within their wedding day and can be seen in their large acrylic M guestbook, reserved seating signs, and cake topper! Attached to her bouquet are sentimental family heirloom rings from the women in her family, which is such a touching detail that I totally love!
They selected the Secret Garden for their first look, which is such a beautiful part of Grace Valley Farm. We even went back to the garden for their family photos, which was a stunning setting! For their ceremony Aaron and Caty chose Lovers Lane which is a beautifully photogenic location and our very favorite ceremony location at the Shelbyville venue. And the reception took place in the main barn, everyone had a blast and danced a ton, Aaron certainly crushed the dance floor with his moves.
