We’ve been counting down the days for Laura & Kory’s wedding for over a year, so to say we were excited that their day was finally here would be an understatement. What none of us were expecting was that it was going to be Hot with a capital H! But, even with the heat cranked up it was an absolutely beautiful wedding day. Laura is a fantastic friend and a stunning bride – basically, Kory totally hit the jackpot! One of my very favorite parts of their wedding is the super timelines color palette they selected of champagnes, whites, navy and pops of red. Oh, and of course we’re in Tennessee so there’s definitely some Vols orange to be seen throughout the day!
The guys spent their time watching the football game while the girls were primping. Laura couldn’t stop raving about her hair and makeup team & we totally agree! Outdoor summer weddings in the South can be savage of ones makeup, but Looks by Liz set Laura’s makeup so well she looked flawless all the way through their sparkler exit! Laura selected some beautiful details for her wedding day look & the girls all loved their custom cups and adorable getting ready robes. I’m a big fan of robes for getting ready, they are so cute & make for beautiful photos!
During the ceremony, Laura said vows to both Kory as well as his daughter. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye left, even Kory got teary-eyed. When my parents were married my father said vows to me too so I was feeling pretty sentimental at this sweet gesture. Following their vows everyone headed to the cocktail hour to play cornhole, connect 4 and to get an ice cold drink to refresh. Shoutout to the talented Natasha of Memory of Elegance for the gorgeous flowers. From the bouquets to the ceremony arch and the the wreaths.. it was all just absolutely swoon worthy!
