Every time we get to see Jaqui and Jason it is such a treat! We’ve been capturing their milestone photos for several years now from their engagement session at Farrar Hill Farms to their wedding day there, and their lifestyle first anniversary session at their family home. Now, they are no longer a family of 2 but rather a family of 3. This was our first chance to meet their sweet daughter, Mila, and even though she got super distracted by the creek water, haha, she did absolutely amazing! And can we all just pause for a moment and marvel at Jaqui’s freaking amazing hat?! I’m seriously beyond obsessed with it & she and Mila are so cute together. So, there’s kinda a funny story with this particular photoshoot. After we were done and everyone headed home, Jaqui sent me a message asking how the photos look because apparently once they got back in the car Jason announced that he wasn’t feeling well & was pretty sure he was sick. I assured her that the photos were wonderful and I was confident I could make Jason look like he was feeling more on his A game. So when I delivered their gallery and got a response back from Jaqui that read “You are a magician and a saint 👏🏼👏🏼 i can’t even tell Jason doesn’t feel good anymore!!” I was thrilled. When my clients are happy, I’m happy! Of course we can’t wait to work with them again next year.
