Ice Castles

This is a fun one, y’all! Recently I was able to go to Montana for an engagement session, which you should totally check out here. On my return trip home I decided to stop in Colorado to see one of my sorority sisters, she asked me ‘Hey, do you want to see an Ice Castle while you are here?”. Who says no to that?! I am so happy that she asked me to come here because it’s such a fascinating space! We spent hours wandering around the amazing structure, going down the ice slides and watching the kids laughing and playing.
During our adventures in the space we encountered a photographer taking photos of an engagement session. I took a few behind the scenes photos as a surprised, got her card and emailed them over to her. Of course, now I am absolutely obsessed with the idea of taking engagement photos in an ice castle. As we were about to head out I noticed an elopement happening so we stopped and took some photos for them… so now of course I want to do an elopement at an Ice Castle too, haha!
