When Katelynn and Andrew first contacted us, she couldn’t stop talking about how she fell in love with their wedding venue, Kings Chapel, the moment she saw it. Both of them have a love for history and are sentimental about the past, so when Katelynn saw how much the church reminded her of her grandmothers church back home, she knew without a doubt that this was the right space for her. To say nothing of the fact that the church is off the a road that had the same name as her high school. Sometimes all of the signs are just there.
Andrew and Katelynn met online and went for coffee near her home in Columbus, Ohio. She was a bit late due to the fact she got lost along the way, which Andrew found charming. Their short coffee date turned into a stroll through the mall, and they wandered around every single store including the Hallmark shop and the Mattress store without stopping talking once. When they finally had to part, Katelynn remembers calling her friend and sharing with her how amazing the date went and how it felt like they had known one another their entire lives already. That was 7 years ago, and they haven’t stopped talking since. They both absolutely love their fur child, Tom the cat whom they adopted from a rescue shelter after fostering him. This is a cause they are both so passionate about that they asked their guests to make donations to the vet in lieu of traditional gifts.
If you adored their beautiful fall wedding, you’ll definitely adore their Franklin engagement session at Kings Chapel!
