CACTUS CREEK BARN | DICKSON, TENNESSEE
Ever since last fall when we spent an evening at The Lodge with Clayton and Kristina, we’ve been looking forward to their May wedding at Cactus Creek Barn. In February, we had the pleasure of spending the day with them for Ashley and Eddie’s wedding. Ashley and Kristina are best friends & actually booked us for their weddings on the same day! It has been so great being able to spend time with them and see them be each other’s maids of honor. Is that not the sweetest thing ever?!
Kristina & Clayton’s chose Cactus Creek Barn for the beautiful setting and because of how perfectly it fit with their outdoor lifestyle. And, we have to say, it definitely was the first time we’ve been in a venue that has a door that opens in the bridal suite for a horse to stick his head through. No joke! Seriously the cutest thing ever.
The outdoor ceremony alongside the creek was incredibly picturesque with the gentle water making the perfect backdrop for them to tie the knot. Everywhere that you look at this venue the view is just absolutely gorgeous! The creek, the open fields, the friendly horses, there is absolutely nothing not to fall in love with!
Clayton’s amazing grooms cake was themed for his biggest passion – duck hunting! We love how their incorporated so many personal details and memories into their reception decor including photos from while they were dating! These made for the coolest themed cocktail tables – barrels with glass ontop and personal photos underneath.
