We couldn’t wait to meet up with Peter & Melanie at historical Cannonsburgh Village in Murfreesboro. If you are every looking for a relaxing and charming outdoor date night & haven’t had the opportunity to stop by this quaint landmark, we highly recommend adding it to your bucket list! They also offer wedding ceremonies in the chapel or outdoor gazebo, which are absolutely perfection for an elopement! The chapel is so incredibly charming and photographs so beautifully for this cute engagement session!

Melanie was so excited about all of the cute things she was able to include in their engagement session. We love the way that they embraced the winter weather and found a wonderful theme that highlighted them. She found these adorable mugs and was so excited about how cheesy and cute they were. Our favorite part though? That they planned ahead and brought hot cocoa & jumbo heart shaped marshmallows! Melanie also brought one of her families heirlooms, a stunning quilt that fit perfectly with their engagement theme.

Can we just talk about how gorgeous Melanies’ hair is? The vibrant red color paired with the teal and navy dresses she selected, y’all, we’re swooning! And that doesn’t even begin to cover the fact that they are undeniably cute together! We got so lucky with this session because it literally rained the entire week except for this one perfect day! The light was gorgeous, the weather was beautiful, and these two were so excited about their engagement photos! We had the best time with them and are so excited for their May wedding!
