WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
November 11th is our wedding anniversary! Sometimes we get to slip away for a special trip and sometimes we stay closer to home. Last year, for our 5th anniversary, we took a cruise aboard the Norwegian Epic for a week. This year we know that we will be traveling often in the coming weeks so we have opted to stay home and enjoy our anniversary here. One of our very favorite parts about our anniversary at home years is that we have a tradition of decorating for Christmas. Yes, yes – we know, it’s super early! But, it’s our little family tradition. We watch Christmas episodes of tv shows, some Christmas movies and go through our holiday decorations. Our very favorite part is decorating the tree. Not only because that’s such a staple of the holiday season but because we have another tradition that we began during our honeymoon. We travel quite a bit and aren’t really big into buy a lot of trinkets, so instead we buy ornaments. Which means once a year we get to look back and reminisce about the vacations we have been on and family trips. It’s without a doubt our favorite part of the year.
