Tim & Megan tied the knot at Donelson Church of Christ in Nashville, Tennessee in the spring. Tim and his brother, Dustin, attended church at Donelson when they were younger so there was nowhere else Tim could imagine marrying his fiance, Megan.
Bright pops of purple can be seen throughout Megan & Tim’s wedding decor. From Megan’s fun Converse bridal sneakers to the reception floral centerpieces.
As a gift to Tim on their wedding day, Megan got him fun Marvel socks so he “didn’t get cold feet”! And he surprised her with awesome purple RayBans, the A-Team, and a letter so sweet she was in tears throughout reading it.
This was such a lighthearted, fun, contemporary wedding with traditional moments including a colorful sand ceremony that included their son, Langston.
Tim’s brother, Dustin, stood as his best man. And their close friend, Jamie, was Megan’s Maid of Honor. We spent the whole day cracking up with them and the rest of their wedding party, China and Chris.
Seriously, these brothers are hilarious. As the best man, Dustin was sure he gave them an unforgettable “toast”! HA! – get it? We were cracking up alongside every guest!
One of the awesome things about getting married near downtown Nashville is that there is often times an opportunity to slip away during or after the reception. Or, if you are planning a ceremony for later in the day you can create time in your timeline to visit the waterfront & pedestrian bridge before the ceremony.
They celebrated their union by honeymooning with their kiddo at Walt Disney World. Mahlia’s parents also chose to escape to Florida for their own honeymoon. And of course, we met & started dating while we were working at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. :)!
