We were so excited for this wedding at Iriswoods because we adore both the venue owners & this sweet couple! Tony was anxious all day for the ceremony to begin and see Lucinda. When we arrived at the venue we headed upstairs to find Lucinda and her ladies getting ready in the bridal suite. All of the girls had super cute robes on! We love so many of the details that they chose for their wedding day – especially their colors of purple and yellow! It was such a refreshing and bright spring color palette. Lucinda & Tony met where so many of us do – at work. They became friends which quickly turned into dating and love. And now it’s forever!
How incredible sweet and sentimental are the cuff links that Lucinda had custom made for Tony on their wedding day? We’re absolutely smitten with the personalization of this thoughtful groom gift.
While they opted to have a traditional ceremony they did want to take a moment to bless and pray over their union prior to the ceremony. Lucinda prayed and had the all of her ladies in the bridal suite in absolute tears over her words. We are so fortunate to be a part of these moments with our couples, it truly is an honor.
They chose to have a Cord of 3 Strands Ceremony during their wedding. We love how their wedding colors fit so perfectly into this union ceremony.
One of our favorite things during a reception is the Anniversary Dance. DJ Duggin organized this and it was so much fun! We love seeing all of the married couples on the dance floor together and watching as they slowly leave the dance floor until only 1 couple is left – the one that has been married the longest! Plus, handing them the microphone always elicits some priceless marriage advice!
One of the really unique parts of their wedding reception was that they had 2 caricaturist artists there! It was such a major hit with their friends and family and such a memorable wedding favor!
We have had a few grooms choose to through the garter this way & we absolutely love the idea! It always gets all the single guys super competitive, diving for the ball & jumping over one another!
While their guests were eating and having fun starting to dance we slipped away with them for about 10 minutes for these gorgeous sunset photos! Iriswoods has some stunning spots for sunset photos and we always love a gorgeous field setting for photos. Totally swoon-worthy!

Love the beautiful captures of holding hands while praying before the ceremony. It was obvious that the bride and groom thought out every detail.
Lucinda prayed the sweetest prayer during this moment that had her entire wedding party in tears.
