We had such a fantastic day with Aaron & Emily! Their first look was one of our very favorite parts from their day. Their officiant was one of their best friends, Jhason, who is also the husband of Brittany – Emily’s maid of honor! Isn’t it so incredible how everyone is interconnected and close knit? It was important to Aaron & Emily that their wedding day be focused on their loved ones and their faith because God is so important in their lives. They actually met through volunteering at their church youth group.
One of the really unique and sentimental things that the couple decided to do for their wedding day was to bring portraits of their parents from their wedding day! Family heirlooms are one of our very favorite things to have couples incorporate into their wedding day. And both of these loved and cherished photos were so fitting to include in their wedding day photos & as decor on the wedding day.
It was an incredibly windy day and we were unsure if the rain was going to hold off mixed with the extreme July heat, but God was with us and everything turned out absolutely beautiful! We embraced the wine and took some absolutely stunning photos of Emily with her incredible cathedral veil. Emily’s ladies look phenomenal in the bright coral paired with the groomsmens’ grey suits.
Moments before the ceremony began, Emily’s father saw her for the first time before walking her down the aisle. Looking at this moment totally makes us (ok, Mahlia really) tear up! After the ceremony, the wedding guests gathered around with bubbles for a fun and beautiful grand exit before everyone headed into the cocktail coffee hour & reception. Bubble exits during the daytime are absolute perfection!
Once the party winded down and the reception was finished up, we went with Emily & Aaron to visit the incredible Two Vintage Monkeys prop house for a few evening photos. Gary & Klista are such an sweet couple and so kind to allow us the use of one of their beautiful antique sitting chairs. We’re always amazed at the beautiful & unique rentals that they offer for weddings & events.
