ZACH + MEGAN
PRIVATE ESTATE | LEBANON, TENNESSEE
Zach & Megan had an sweet southern wedding at Megan’s family estate in Lebanon, Tennessee. One of the best parts about getting married on your family land is that you can invite everyone– including your puppy! Remi made an appearance during Zach & Megan’s engagement session and was also the ring-pup for their wedding ceremony.
We arrived to find the girls beginning to get ready for the big day. Megan has so many beautiful details that she selected for her wedding day, her garters are gorgeous! It was such a relaxed wedding that allowed for the couple to really embrace and enjoy all of the little moments. The men spent the morning getting ready at Zach’s home.
Zach gifted his men with some really fun gifts! Pocket knives, Star Wars cups, & cigars — what more could be more perfect? Megan had equally as wonderful gifts for her ladies. We adore the custom handkerchiefs she had made for her mother and mother in law to dry their tears of joy during the ceremony. Megan’s girls also got her a gift, they compiled a scrapbook with letters from them & her family. What a perfect gift! They even left space for her to add photos from the wedding day! One of the sweetest parts of their day was seeing how their loved ones were all there to help make their day perfect. Zach’s grandmother even helped as their florist.
The rain arrived ahead of schedule and stayed throughout the entire afternoon until shortly before the ceremony. We embraced the rain and had some fun none the less! The skies cleared for most of the ceremony allowing for the couple to get married in their dream spot on the property. The couple had a custom cross created from the antique wood from their family land. It was important to them and we are so happy that God allowed for them to say I Do in front of that cross with all of their loved ones surrounding them. Megan & Zach chose to have a prayer circle during their ceremony; they had their wedding party gather around them as their officiant lead them in a prayer.
Megan had a vision for the reception space and was so happy to see how everything came together, it was truly lovely! We loved the clean, classic look with the personal touches of photos along the bar and sweetheart table. The kids had a wonderful time playing with the umbrellas and dancing on the dance floor. Not only did they have a fun twist during their ceremony but they also had a unique reception. In liu of traditional toasts, they had speeches pre-recorded and a video projected for guests to watch. It was such a fun idea!
After we did captured some night photos with the newlyweds, we saw the groomsmen smoking cigars and caught some really fun photos of them! We’re loving how these turned out.
If you adored their sweet wedding, you’ll definitely adore their Legacy Farms engagement session!!
