JOEY + JENNIFER | MURFREESBORO, TENNESSEE
We got to spend a beautiful fall afternoon with Jennifer & Joey at her families historical estate outside of Murfreesboro, Holbrook Farms. They were both excited to be able to feature something that is such an intricate part of their lives. Fall is their favorite time on the farm with the harvesting, so they knew they wanted to have their engagement photos during that time of year. Jennifers’ grandfather had this incredible ’69 International truck so Joey & her wanted to highlight it prominently in their photos. The red paint on the vintage truck looked so lovely against the vibrant golds, greens, and oranges of the fall leaves. Joey is an performance diesel mechanic. They also brought a lovely quilt along with them, which is one of our favorite things that our couples’ bring to an engagement.
The Holbrook Farms estate has a lot of land and it was a blast exploring everywhere with them. From the working farm at the front of the property we found some great organic locations with bundles of hay as well as a beautiful and cool grain silo which made for a really unique background. The back country road, y’all, we’re swooning over this road! The dust gently stirred up from us driving through, mixed with the golden light of the sun, made for such a beautiful location for Joey & Jennifer to take a stroll together. And we haven’t even discussed the back fields of the farm! Basically, if we could photograph all country estate sessions at this property we absolutely would!
They are getting married next October at one of our very favorite Lascassas, Tennessee wedding venues – Jon Haven Farm. We can’t wait to see all of the ways they showcase their love of their favorite season in their fall wedding.
