A Modern Navy & Rose Gold Inspired Wedding

Wedding Paper Divas is an affiliate of Shutterfly and they specialize in stunning wedding invitations & stationary suites. When they first approached us about the idea of working with us on a photoshoot we were ecstatic to be working with them. We immediately knew that Stones River Country Club would be the perfect setting for the modern & traditional styled wedding. The country club is one of our very favorite venues in Murfreesboro, although we are a bit biased since we were married at a private golf course in Florida.

 

Penny, the amazingly awesome coordinator at Stones River, brought us together with Amy of Amy & I Designs, which was a perfect pairing! The first time we met with Amy all of the styling and plans fell into place. We wanted to style a wedding that was vibrant and bold. We loved the contrast of the navy with rose gold – which you can see reflected in our new branding – that’s how much we adore it! Amy is absolutely brilliant at taking a small idea and creating an entire vision with it. Not only is she extremely talented at planning but she also has an incredible gift for floral design, as you can see from this photoshoot.

 

 

One of our amazing second shooters, Rebecca of Rebecca Denton Photography, agreed to help us capture this styled wedding. With all of the intricate details we had planned we knew we needed a second set of eyes to help photograph everything. Rebecca was also enthusiastic about the design we were putting together & was so helpful with connecting us with 2 other amazing Nashville vendors – Fabulous Frocks & Sweetability Bakery. The artistry of the cake that was created was beautiful, she took inspiration from the stationary suite to design a wedding cake based on it. How awesome of an idea is that to make your wedding cake truly unique?!

 

 

Fabulous Frocks of Nashville is a well known designer boutique dress shop the specializes in unique and intricate gowns. We selected a youthful & flirty dress with an intricately detailed floral lace pattern on the back. It is exactly the style of dress you would want to frolic through a field in. The way that the dress paired with the showstopping modern navy suit provided by locally owned D&K Menswear complimented was exactly what we had envisioned. One of the things that is really cool about this mens formal wear company is the unique contemporary tuxes that they offer among the traditional options.

Amy met with and worked with seasoned professionals at Classic Party Rentals and Graceful Tables. Together, they designed and styled the table settings for the photoshoot to create a contemporary vision using modern geometric shapes and splashes of metallic throughout. Classic has the newest and coolest chairs, chameleon chairs, that are entirely customizable for your event. You can remove the backs of the chairs, change out the seat covers, and more. They are really cool!! Graceful Tables pairs perfectly with this rental company and offers a huge variety of table linen rentals for any occasion. Plus, Graceful Tables is a family business with over 100 years of combined professional experience and we always love to support incredible companies such as this.

 

 

Primp This was a lifesaver and filled in on short notice for makeup. It turned out to be a blessing because she is insanely talented & we have had the pleasure of working with her numerous times in the months since. She even does Mahlias’ hair and makeup! We were so thrilled to have Juliana Stafford team up with us on this project for hair styling. The intricate swirled half up and down hairstyle was paired softly with the gentle dress & bold flowercrown created by Amy.
