We have had several weddings in Dickson, TN but most have been at the beautiful Cactus Creek Barn. However, this fall wedding takes us a bit further down the road to Foxcroft Farms. This is out very first time at Foxcroft Farms and we were amazed by the beautiful views throughout the venue property! Shelby was introduced to this venue by her family member who lives close to the venue. When she and Don got engaged they ventured to Foxcroft Farms and immediately knew it was the perfect location for their fall wedding.
Shelby and Don have been together for over 6 years ever since they first met at a party during college. While the rest of their friends were busy inside partying together the two of them walked away from the noise and sat together outside to chat. It didn’t take long for them to realize that they were having way more fun together than they were with all of the rest of the guests. The two of them now live together with their cute dog and have been excited to plan their wedding – especially Shelby as she used to be a wedding planning assistant!

One of our favorite details of their wedding day is the Don’s ring. This is special because his wedding ring was originally worn by his father and then passed down to him for his union to Shelby. Speaking of wedding details, how awesome are the shirts that she got for herself and her bridesmaids! Once the ladies were dressed we headed outside together just in time for the horses to come over to the fence! That’s one of the really cool things about getting married on a farm, you get incredible views and you are able to have horses in your photos!!
The reception space at this Dickson wedding venue is all open air allowing for a 360 degree view of the land. But our personal favorite touch are the strands of twinkly lights paired with the chandeliers makes for some very romantic photos, especially for the first dance! It was a cold night and the sun set quickly but we got to do some fun night portraits of the two of them with Don’s car!
