ETHAN + ASHLEY | married
A downtown Nashville Wedding at Scarritt Bennett & the Hutton HotelEver since their engagement session, we have looked forward to photographing this gorgeous couple again. Ashley is the type of bride that has such an amazing vision of her wedding day that we couldn’t wait to see all that she had dreamed up come to life! The personal details they put into their wedding were beautiful. Ethan & Ashley have such a chemistry they know how to make each other laugh. And we love that they are so funny because the two of them have amazing smiles! The bridal party got ready in their own room at the Hutton Hotel in downtown Nashville just blocks away from the Ceremony site, The Scarritt Bennett Center. Watching 3 generations help one another don their wedding jewelry was beyond precious. It was so natural the way they helped one another with their necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Can you believe this chapel!? The organ pipes, the architecture, the beautiful light! We couldn’t have been happier to be at Scarritt Bennett for this wedding! It was the perfect venue for these two, and made all that more special by the fact Ethan’s sister had been married in the same chapel.
Ethan gifted the groomsmen with the most perfect socks ever! Check these out. These men know style. And they relaxed in style at Scarritt Bennett as they got ready for Ethan to see his bride for the first time.
Ashley & Ethan made sure that the children were included and had a ton of fun things to keep them occupied. Though, in the end, it was the little ones who were occupying the dance floor! They certainly had some moves.
Ashley had such a clear vision of her bridal style. Crisp, clean, natural. She has such a elegant beauty, everything she chose to wear accentuated her natural elegance. Look closely, she had the fun touch of a small pink heart added to her manicure!
remember that time…
love is sweet
Instead of a traditional cake Ashley & Ethan made mountains of cupcakes for the guests in several flavors. Ethan doesn’t like cake much and instead prefers cheesecake so they made a small tier of cheesecake to cut instead! It was a great idea. And the grooms cake was a brownie cake made to look like a tire wheel with a replica of his motorcycle on top. Completing this dessert buffet were signs declaring how sweet love is.
