A Bright Berry Colored Fall Wedding at Owen Farm

Owen Farm has an awesome space for the guys to get ready in and for the girls to get ready. The best part? They are on opposite sides of the property so no chance of accidentally running into one another!Darcy’s bridal bouquet was stunning. The bright berry colors of red, magenta, orange, yellow, and purple plus the little sprigs of actual berries were such a dominant color combination.

Both Brian & Darcy had these awesome Converse – hers said Bride, and his, Groom. We love these because they are something that they will have forever and can wear at any time and be reminded of the day the committed themselves to one another. Brian also had cuff links that we adored – Captain America!!

They shared their first look together just as it began to sprinkle. The result was stunning in the photos. It almost looks like little flakes of snow surrounding them. We love it!The grounds that make up Owen Farm are absolutely enormous and you have access to so many gorgeous locations for photos. In the fall there are even corn fields. And the view for the main ceremony site is absolutely breathtaking. It overlooks a valley and river.Remember how we mentioned there is a ton of land at Owen Farm? We weren’t exaggerating. We went to so many incredible locations and there were several other spots we would have loved to have gone to had the weather been a bit more cooperative.

This is our favorite moment from the ceremony. Darcy was so overcome during their vows, it was absolutely precious. We had an absolute blast with Brian’s side of the wedding party! They were definitely prepared to have a relaxed and fun time and celebrate their dear friends.

We had to get a photo of everyone with their rockstar awesome sunglasses on!

Owen Farm truly comes alive at night. The lights create such a unique and beautiful environment. The reception space can be converted to either an open or closed space, which was perfect for the chilly fall weather that came in that evening. The space heaters warmed the room up and the siding kept the heated inside. During their cocktail hour Darcy & Brian had this awesome idea to have different flavors of popcorn. Of course they had traditional – movie theater popcorn, but also Chicago style & Chocolate Covered Strawberry. This was the first wedding we have had with a popcorn bar and it was a major hit!

Owen Farm has several different vintage vehicles on the property and we immediately knew that we had to use the antique truck for some photos of the two of them and then more of the full wedding party.

One of our favorite photos to get on a wedding day are the fun ones with the wedding party. The traditional photos are wonderful to have but the true unposed fun ones are the photos everyone always loves the most. They truly represent each persons personality and capture all of the bride and grooms friends in a fun way.
