MAC + NANCY | proposal
Nashville & Lebanon Tennessee Airports
When Mac first contacted us to chat about his ideas for his proposal to Nancy we couldn’t be more thrilled with the vision he had. Mac has his pilot license and he knew he wanted to pop the question on the airstrip beside a plane. The best part (aside from the obvious excitement of a proposal) was how much he valued having their moment documented to remember for years. We met with Mac at the airstrip before the big day to go over the details so we knew exactly what he had envisioned for the photo and video.
We arrived at the flight school at the Nashville airport bright and early and we’re ready for our undercover assignment of pretending to be taking marketing photos for the flight school. Nancy had no idea that we were there specifically to take pictures of the two of them before they took off and flew to the Lebanon airport where Mac planned on to propose. That’s right, apparently we can double as actors! haha
Mac & Nancy flew from the Nashville airport to the Lebanon airport where their friends and family were ready and waiting for him to propose. Meanwhile, we hopped in the car with 2 of their friends and rushed on over to be there to set everything up of their landing and, of course, the proposal itself.
We were amazed by the show of love and support from their friends and family. We have never seen that many loved ones present for a proposal and it was such an amazing experience!
Nancy is so lucky to have so many wonderful & gorgeous ladies in her life!
So, how incredible is this ring that Mac chose for Nancy?! Seriously, we’re going to be honest, this photo is beautiful but it doesn’t do the ring justice at all. It is absolutely stunning in person & so unique.
Now that we’ve captured their proposal we can’t wait to reconnect with them for engagement pictures this spring. They’ve set a wedding date for early 2017.
The smiles, tears, laughter, and love that a couple shares in the moment their decide to wed is so moving. And when a proposal is this beautiful and fun we know the wedding day is going to be an even bigger celebration!
