A Fall Engagement at Wrens Nest

Trey & Jennifer are going to be getting married at The Wren’s Nest this September and we were so thrilled they chose to do their engagement photos at the venue as well. One of the cool things about having your engagement session at your wedding venue is that we can take a photo in a spot during the engagement session & they recreate that same photo in the same spot on the wedding day.

We love the barn at Wren’s Nest! You can utilize the barn loft as well as the floor level. The loft would be perfect for an indoor ceremony, a dance floor, or if you are having a more intimate wedding it is the ideal spot for a bride & groom to have dinner just the two of them before joining their guests downstairs.

So, they happened to be wearing some of our very favorite clothing. Jennifer’s dress was crazy cute and reminded us of something from Dr. Who. And we loved the bright pop of red in her heels.

The barn itself is fantastic, but the property that Wren’s Nest is on is absolutely gorgeous! There are numerous pathways, rocks, fences, swings & benches that are all sweet little spots for photos. We had a wonderful time wandering around with Jennifer & Trey discovering awesome spots for photos.

Jennifer’s ring is so cool. We love that there are 3 main diamonds. We can’t wait to see what wedding bands they choose for their wedding day.

The loft of the barn is absolutely beautiful. We spent a few minutes inside, chatting and capturing candid moments of them relaxing. They both loves this series of photos because it was very fitting for their lifestyle. They love just spending time sitting together and talking.

How amazingly cool are these books that they brought with them?! We totally want some for ourselves.
