Last fall we met up with these two at Arrington Vineyards for their engagement session. Since then we’ve been so anxiously excited for their wedding day at Legacy Farms! And seriously, how perfect was the weather & light for their wedding? Krista was gorgeous and we loved her classic lace dress. Chad was truly happy for this day and couldn’t wait to marry her.
Krista’s mother and sister helped her get ready during bridal preparations and surprised her with all of these sweet family heirlooms for her to hold close to her on her wedding day. Her mother made a handkerchief for Krista to wrap around her bouquet. The most amazing part? The cloth was made from her mothers own wedding dress. For her something borrowed, an antique broach from a grandmother.
Krista’s brother made this incredibly gorgeous cross for them to stand in front of for their ceremony. It was such a perfect addition to the beautiful backdrop in the loft of the venue.
The favors they gave their guests were the most adorable jars of preserves!
Receptions are so much fun with interactive and extra fun moments. The Shoe Game is always a major hit with guests!The couple is asked a question such as “Who is the better driver?” and then each of them will raise a shoe to answer the question. Raising the grooms shoe means they are saying “Him” for their answer. If the brides shoe gets raised, then the answer is “Her”.

What a beautiful wedding! I have only seen people do the shoe game at the bridal shower, but I love the idea of doing it at the wedding! Looks like a great time!

This venue was absolutely breathtaking. The cross that Krista’s brother made was stunning and made for a perfect backdrop. The groom was as handsome as ever and the bride was beautiful. I’m so glad that we were able to be a part of such a special day.

My fiance and I have gone back and forth many times over what we want for our wedding day – from a quiet elopement to Vegas, to a big blowout! Well, we FINALLY decided on a Nashville wedding, booked a venue, and we want YOU as a our photographer after seeing these! SO BEAUTIFUL!
