7 Things You Probably Didn’t Know about Us!

We want to share a few fun and random things about ourselves with y’all! From our pets to our favorite date night in. Do you see anything that you have in common with us?

1. Whenever we go cruising we spend most of the trip playing Board Games. While most people spend their time relaxing poolside we much prefer hitting the game room. It’s fun to spend the time with our family or make new friends playing Scrabble.
   
2. We BOTH love to watch Gilmore Girls! While Mahlia was the first to fall in love with the Gilmores’ back in high school, it didn’t take more than an episode for Pat to also adore the fast talking & quick witted ladies.
   
3. We have a pet bunny, named Rory. When we first moved to Murfreesboro, Mahlia got a job working at a well known photography studio. During Easter, families would come in for photos with rabbits & a few lucky ones even got to take home a new furry friend! One Easter, much to Pat’s suprise, Mahlia decided to bring one home too. Now, Rory is Pat’s office buddy!
   
4. Neither of us is originally from Tennessee. The first time we drove through the South we immediately knew that once we were married we wanted to move to Nashville to live. Once we settled in, neither of us has once questioned the decision. It’s always felt like home and we’re so happy to have found such a wonderful community so early on in our lives.
   
   
5. Mahlia’s favorite color is purple & Pat’s favorite color is green. You’ll notice, in our home, that one of our colors is much more prominently featured than the other. Spoiler alert – it’s purple!
   
6. We had an exchange student from Slovakia living with us! One of the must incredible opportunities we have had since moving to Tennessee was the chance to host an exchange student. At first we were unsure since it’s just the two of us & we are so busy with photoshoots. But, Timea, was absolutely amazing! We had so many fun adventures with her & can’t wait for the next time we are able to open our home to another student.
   
   
7. On the rare occasion we find ourselves with a free evening we still really enjoy going into our local rental store to pick up a movie instead of streaming it. Right around the corner from our first home in Tennessee, was a Family Video. We were so excited to see the store when we first arrived because there are no rental shops in Orlando anymore. It made us so nostalgic for our childhood. Now, when we have a date night in, we stop in and pick up 1 or 2 movies to snuggle up on the couch together & watch.
