HELLO 2017!

Our 2016 wedding season was such a dream & we are so excited to see what 2017 has in store for us. Last year we had the pleasure of photographing weddings in Oregon, Kentucky, & all throughout Tennessee as well as engagement photos in Aruba! One of our very favorite venues last year was in Bowling Green at Historic Potter Farm, and we are hopeful to return there again this year. We have several 2017 weddings taking place at amazing local Murfreesboro venues including Stones River Country Club, Stone Gate Farm, & Jon Haven Farm.

Not only will we be photographing weddings, but this year we also get to attend a union! It’s crazy to think, but we haven’t been to a ceremony as guests since Pats’ sister, Kim, was married in 2013. We traveled to Ohio to be a part of her & Andy’s nuptials at the Columbus Zoo! Yep, it was pretty cool. It was the first time we got to see a sloth! That’s certainly a way to wow your guests during a reception – bring out animals for them to directly interact with. This year we get to travel to Florida for Pat to be a groomsman for our dear friend Ricky, who stood by us during our vows in 2011, so it is such an honor for him to be able to reverse the role.

In August we’re headed to Montana for Mahlia’s sorority chapters’ centennial anniversary! In 1917 the Alpha Phi chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi was installed at Montana State University. Mahlia initiated in 2006 and has eagerly been awaiting for 2017’s centennial celebration. It’s a very exciting time to reconnect with sorority sisters & meet other ladies. We’re really excited to share photos from this event with y’all!

Thanksgiving this year we will also be in Florida for, spending the time with Mahlia’s family. Then, Christmas time will be with Pat’s family in Indiana! One of the luxuries that we have is being able to travel and do what we love, photography, and spend time with our loved ones. 2016 was an incredibly good year to us and we are looking forward to what 2017 has to bless us with.
