Summer Engagement at the Cool Springs House

We have known Carrie for years and were thrilled when she and Travis met. When she reached out to let us know that he had proposed, we were over the moon! And honored that they wanted to work with us for their wedding photography. Especially since Carrie is a photographer herself! We even met while working at another photography studio back in 2014.

History of Cool Springs House

The Cool Springs House near Franklin, TN has a rich history dating back to the 1830s. It was initially built as a two-room log home by James and Penelope Barfield Carothers. Over the years, the house underwent several additions and renovations, including a frame addition in the 1870s by Dr. Robert Blake Carothers. Today, the Cool Springs House stands as a testament to the area’s historical significance and serves as an event venue within Brentwood’s Crockett Park.
