A Bicentennial Mall Engagement

When we met up with Ashley and Eddie at the Bicentennial Mall we were amazed by 2 things. The first was how beautiful and unique the park was, and the second, how incredibly freezing it was that morning! Ashley rocked her dress even in the chilly weather!

One of the coolest spots at the park is this amphitheater that overlooks the Tennessee State Capitol building. It’s an incredible sight. We had absolutely no idea this park was back here and it was such a treat to visit with them.

How incredibly stunning is Ashley’s ring? The large round diamond set into the circular pillow setting with several accents and detail diamonds throughout the entire ring, including the band itself.

On the opposite side of the Bicentennial Mall is a series of bells that extends around the outside of a circle. The bells chime occasionally. When it hit the top of the hour, the bells began to play Rocky Top! It sounded amazing.

Past the amphitheater and closer to the state building is an outdoor water splash zone and historical tribute landmark. We were so excited that they wanted to go in the middle of the water jets & loved the photos we got there.

While we were at the Bicentennial Mall we had the happy accident of selecting a morning when there was a historical event taking place. We wandered about the park finding cute little spots for photos while people dressed in historic garb were setting up informational displays for the guests that were arriving shortly. It was such a unique morning.

Ashley & Eddie are tying the knot tomorrow at the beautiful Belle Hollow in Clarksville, Tennessee. We are so excited to be spending the day with them and their family
