Trey & Jennifer’s wedding brought us to Gatlinburg, TN! It seems that every year we have the pleasure of traveling out to the Knoxville area for a couples wedding. Last fall we were at Butterfly Gap Retreat & this year we were at Hidden Mountain Resort for this sweet couples wedding day. Jennifer and Trey are such a sweet couple and we were so happy to be a part of their intimate elopement in the mountains. We met this couple last fall at the Perfect Wedding Guide bridal show in downtown Nashville.
We had such a blast with the ladies as they got ready at a Shear Madness. It is such a cool, retro salon in Sevierville and made for the perfect spot for them to relax, get pampered, and glam up for the wedding.
Trey served in the United State Marine Core & Jen served in the Air Force, they both attended Middle Tennessee State for their degrees. Because of their military background, they both value supporting the men and women both active & retired within the military family. One of the most important activities they do together is attend fundraisers to support military causes. During their time in the military they both served abroad living in Japan! While each of them has traveled the world to so many different places, either for work or family, they both call Tennessee home. We love to see all of the small commonalities they have with one another.
During their months of planning they chose to stylize their wedding to reflect what is most important to them, their family & friends, and a relaxed setting. A cabin in Gatlinburg was the idea setting to relax and have fun with their loved ones instead of having a more structured, traditional wedding. That’s one of the things that we find so fun about each of our couples, they are all so different & we love seeing the different styles they choose when creating their unique wedding day!
