A Cute Engagement at Long Hunter Park

ENGAGEMENT

November 22, 2016

BJ + BRITTANY
LONG HUNTER PARK | NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE

Once of our favorite photoshoot locations is Long Hunter State Park. So we were thrilled to head out there on a beautiful windy afternoon. We met Brittany and her mom at a Perfect Wedding Guide bridal show at the Nashville Convention Center and we were so excited to meet up with BJ to chat more about their wedding plans. They are high school sweethearts who have been dating for more than 6 years so they are anxious to tie the knot. Their ceremony is this spring at Cactus Creek Farm, which is a fantastic venue with a cute little creek and a bridal suite with a window for that the horses will peek their head into.

They love the outdoors and got engaged in Gatlinurg, Brittany’s dad and brother helped BJ pick out the ring! Family is important to them. With their love of nature, they wanted to include a scenic location for their engagement session, so naturally, Long Hunter Park came to mind. The lake, the open fields and the way the leaves change during the fall months.

Brittany is an elementary school teacher and BJ works as a corrections officer. We had a great adventure with them walking around Long Hunter with their adorable dog! We can’t wait to see them again at their ceremony!
