Destination Wedding at Saddle Woods Farm

A fall wedding is always a dream, but even more when the leaves turn! Heather and Kevin came from California for their destination wedding at Saddle Woods Farm.

Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, TN is a picturesque event venue that offers a stunning backdrop for weddings, corporate events, concerts, and fundraisers. Nestled in the heart of Middle Tennessee, this rustic and romantic farm provides a majestic country-style atmosphere for any special occasion. Saddle Woods Farm is conveniently situated just 30 minutes from Nashville. With its charming countryside setting, Saddle Woods Farm creates a tranquil and enchanting experience for couples and guests alike.

Heather & Kevin’s wedding was a magical day filled with plenty of love and laughter. The ceremony took place inside the iconic barn, where Heather and Kevin said “I do” surrounded by family and friends.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a delicious meal while they celebrated with their newly married couple. The party really got started once night fell – with a live band playing all sorts of favorite tunes from across genres. Everyone danced the night away! And to capture those special memories for years to come, guests had fun posing for photos in The Social Booth photobooth.

Alternatives to a Candle Lighting Ceremony

  1. Unity Sand Ceremony: Instead of a candle lighting, couples can opt for a unity sand ceremony. This involves blending different colored sands into a single container, symbolizing the blending of their lives and families.
  2. Tree Planting Ceremony: A tree planting ceremony is a beautiful alternative that represents the growth and strength of the couple’s relationship. The couple can plant a sapling together, symbolizing their commitment to nurturing and caring for their love.
  3. Wine Blending Ceremony: For wine enthusiasts, a wine blending ceremony can be a unique choice. The couple can pour two different wines into a single decanter, creating a blended wine that symbolizes the merging of their lives and the creation of something new.
  4. Handfasting Ceremony: Handfasting is an ancient Celtic tradition where the couple’s hands are bound together with a ceremonial ribbon or cord. This symbolic act represents their union and the binding of their lives together.
  5. Love Letter Box Ceremony: In this ceremony, the couple writes heartfelt letters to each other and places them inside a beautifully decorated box. The box is then sealed and opened on a future anniversary or during challenging times to remind them of their love and commitment.
